Macaroni and Cheese

This a simple recipe that most people have made or enjoyed at some point in the their life. This a recipe I have honed over the years and it a nice blend of cheeses and flavors.

Ingredients:
12 oz package elbow macaroni
12 oz White shredded sharp
Cheddar cheese
12 oz container small curd cottage
cheese
8 oz sour cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 fresh jalepenos-diced
1/3 bacon

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
2. Boil water with a pinch of salt and boil macaroni till al dente
3. Chop bacon in 1/2 inch pieces and saute till desired crispness, remove bacon and saute jalapenos for about 30 seconds in bacon grease.
4. Mix cheeses, salt, pepper, bacon, and jalapenos.
5. Combine Cheese mixture and macaroni well.
6. In a greased 9 x 13 pan add mac and cheese
7. Melt butter and add breadcrumbs, mix well and sprinkle evenly on top.
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Feel free to add or lessen the jalapeno for more heat
Also substitute wheat pasta, shells, macaroni or whichever you decide.

Enjoy!!!
